Winning Is An Inside Job. Powerful Beliefs Are The Key to Success

A Thought For The Olympics Of Life

“To win, you have to be transformed in the way you think, the way you act and most importantly in the performance you deliver as a result…” Carol Talbot

Dubai, UAE July 2012: Competitions are won and lost in the mind which is why positive mental beliefs are the key to success and to life, said UAE-based learning consultant, Carol Talbot.

She said that it is an individual’s mental toughness that wins gold medals and trophies. “Our beliefs drive our behaviour and influence everything that we do. Given this, most of the work that goes into winning comes from within.”

Talbot believes that by changing the inner thoughts and beliefs of the mind, we can influence change in the outer aspect of life.

“Imagine how your life would change if you lived in an open state of belief that anything is possible.

“Research shows that winners tap into their internal fire to recognise patterns of success. It is about what winners choose to do inside their head. Winners are aware that their thoughts create results.”

Talbot is considered by some to be the region’s leading expert and Master Trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) having worked with more than 20,000 people across multiple sectors in her twenty year career.

She confirmed that NLP provides the foundation for her programmes providing the tools and techniques to allow delegates to make rapid changes and transform performance.

“NLP a highly effective methodology based on the belief that all behaviour has a structure that can be modelled, learned and changed.”

She referred to her ‘Fired Up Formula’ as a palatable recipe for success. “The programme provides the opportunity to take on board ‘feedback’ and find out what is working and what is not, discover what you are doing ‘inside’ and clear up patterns that no longer serve you.

“The door to success can only be opened from the inside. Change your mind, maintain that change and create better results on the outside. This is a world without the shackles of dream stoppers,” Talbot concluded.
